This means overall better prices, quality and service. In conjunction with our solid timber floors, overlay timber floors and decking timbers, Northern Rivers Timber also supplies a wide range of complimentary timber flooring products, including floating floors, parquetry, bamboo flooring and engineered floors. As a result of our commitment to renewable resources,Northern Rivers Timber also works closely with several sawmills throughout Australia to ensure reliable availability of the widest range of timber for flooring and decking in sizes, grades and profiles, providing the best that Australian native hardwoods have to offer. Remember that each application is different and it is important to choose the best suited timber floor on an individual basis. For example, in some situations; an overlay floorboard at only 12mm thick may be more appropriate than a 19mm floor board where there is already a structural floor beneath, or if matching existing floor levels, a solid 19mm timber floor may be best if laying directly over joists and bearers, a floating floor may be the only suitable option if dealing with a tough body corporate, a prefinished timber floor may be preferable if you cannot afford the time for on-site sanding and polishing, a character grade timber floor, (as well as helping the budget) may be the best way to achieve the look you are after.
