Machining

The moulding process transforms the seasoned timber from planks into floorboards. It is firstly faced and tongue & grooved for a secret nail profile, then docked into lengths and proceeds through to the end-matcher. The end-matcher allows for random lengths to be easily joined. This assists in the strength of the floor and allows joins to occur in places other than on joists.
