KILLARNEY ASH has a very pale cream to almost whitish colour, through to pale browns with a pink tinge. This magnificent timber is used in flooring for both modern builds and refurbishment of older houses. With its beautiful range of light colours paler than for example Blackbutt, this timber creates a sleek fresh look that will compliment any décor. 

Generally this timber is used in conjunction with durable high build finishes such as: 

1.                  UV stabilised water based polyurethane.

2.                  Non yellowing solvent based polyurethane. 

The advantage of such coatings being that you can sustain the colour over time without risk of “yellowing” giving a lifetime of enjoyment and satisfaction. These boards are of secret nail profile and end matched meaning no visible nails (80x19) and no need for end joins to fall over joists or batons minimising waste.
